1. my first job was working on the "skilled" wing in a nursing home as a nurses assistant. it still ranks as the toughest and most rewarding job of my life. i will never forget those sweet, and sometimes crazy, little old faces. :)
2. i once punched a guy in the face for stuffing a $20 bill down my shirt as a tip when i was a waitress.
3. i have two memories of my "biological" father: he showed up when i was 10 and my brother was 8. it was the first time we met him. he took us to disneyworld. i didn't hear from him again until i was 17. he showed up at my graduation outside the arena, handed me a check for $100 and drove away...and haven't heard from him since. i am now 31.
4. i daydream about being pregnant...i can't wait for it to no longer be a daydream...
5. i almost married a millionaire...i'm so glad things didn't work out...i never realized how unhappy i was until now...when i'm about to marry the sweetest, most down-to-earth man i've ever known.
6. i really miss my best friend.
7. it's such a relief to finally be in my 30ths!

Yay for #2! I used to wear what I called my punching rings. Ugh.
#5 is so true. Thank goodness things work out the way they do!
Fathers... its a difficult one. Sometimes even when they are present, it doesn't make you less damaged (my case). *Sigh* But on a happy note! i've been Tagged :) LOL! Better get to it! :)

I SO remember #2. I remember thinking that you could kick any one's butt and I was so proud of you for sticking up for yourself. AND that it was cool to be your friend because you could beat people up for me. ;)
And I remember about daydreaming with you about #4...sheesh, seems like forever ago. Both of us counting down the minutes to be wives and then, some day, mommas! LOL. Can't wait to see what your eyes and his smile look like together. :)
Thanks for tagging me! It's my first tag since starting the blog, I loved reading your random facts you picked some good ones!
wow, you work fast! it took me over a week to post my 7 things. i love #2. and i also almost did a #5 once. and just like you i'm so glad i didn't. your wedding blog wouldn't be as beautiful as it is if you weren't with someone you loved so much :)
i never get tagged! thank you!
Those are great! I can relate to all, except almost marrying a millionaire and I've never punched anybody. I would though, if they put money down my shirt! :)
I promise I'm not ignoring your tag; post forthcoming with my response!
I secretly love these! I think they allow people like me, who don't blog a lot of personal stuff, to share a little about themselves. :)
